Fortune Teller Tea Party

Hello hello!
Aspen suggested I get my own little thread started (ooo, the symbolism of a thread...) about a TEA PARTY for our little group, at my shop!
There won't be fortune telling, don't worry.
Unless you want there to be?
But mostly there will be hot drinks and warm baked goods [with sugar-free options]
So let me know if you're interested? And what you're allergic to/hate eating or imbibing?
And if it's just me and Aspen, that's totally fine:). Lovely, even. But not...not like THAT. Unless you - ha! what? Nooo. <cough> Anyways.
But if it's more or many or all of us, that would also be lovely. Very lovely!

I'm not picky for food or drink, but we should have those little sandwiches too

I've only had bad trips from party drugs, so none of those for me.
Also probably no alcohol either. I tend to take a nappy nap on the roof after I've traded my shirt for the closest window curtain.

I'm happy to host sometimes too! Or bring over things for a traditional Turkish tea with backgammon, turkish delight, and almond cookies. Can do a nice hummus board too!

I'm excited to see what ideas Alexander has. I wonder how much the British Empire's idea of tea party has changed from what he's seen to what we think of it.

Doctor joins, and comments that he isn't allergic to anything because that was taken care of in Beta stages.

Alexander seems confused by the concept and doesn't know what an allergy is but will attend regardless.

(At the Tea Party - a diplomatic mix of tiny sandwiches and Aspen's hummus board; herbal teas and Turkish coffee. As long as Gwen agrees:), I thought maybe they worked together in the Chantry kitchen one Saturday morning, to prepare for an afternoon tea? And of course, they worked together very chastely. Lu maybe even overdid the "we're just friends!" thing with some side-hugs of her own, as well as an attempted and botched noogie.

But at the party, Lu will indeed ask if anyone would like their fortune told. So...let me know if you do;)

Alexander appreciates the sandwiches and drinks but declines the fortune telling as he already knows his future

Aspen likes sharing the kitchen. And is happy to accept the just friends vibe. Noogie attempts are foiled with earflicks and wet-dishtowel-fu.

Also wants to know what Alexander means by already knowing his future. Much interest. Very mystery.

All of us should know our own futures. We walk the path of power and such power allows us to create our own futures. Someday my might will be unequaled on that day I shall shatter the sky and free myself from the prison called reality. Knowing the names and location of any bumps or potholes on the path will only serve to slow my progress and add tedium to the jurney.

"Oh, I dunno, I think a little tedium is necessary sometimes.... It's like practicing for death! Hehe."

Suddenly a bit uncomfortable with Alexander, "oh, uh, cool. I'm game to try out the fortune telling, sounds fun!"

I really want a 'ha ha' for this last post from Hedy (and many of Lu's). This thread (ooh!) is so cute.
Lu, do you need help with the actual fortune telling aspects? Are you planning on using your ability for some in-game insight, or are you more just looking for fun?
